Why are these bikes so different looking?

I know they are made in Canada...maybe that is it. I really like the looks of the Suzukis and Yamaha's. i am getting a mcahine this spring...I cant decide. Anyway, these bikes look kinda ugly too me but, they do perform well. Whatta ya think?

I should be the one needing help after responding to such a senseless thread as this....you have tried in the past to stir the pot so all I can tell you is NO COMMENT!

well i think you need to ride one of each that would be the best way to decide-- cause these bikes are not for every one --i love mine and wouldnt tarde it for a nother--im a big guy and this bike just fits me the best out of what all others i have rode and to me it performs the best for a guy my size -- i love the look of them they are very different from others and they stand out in a crowd !!

Hi Lastlaugh,
I think Performanc and SIZE of the ATV are the primary selling points of the DS and due to that fact of trying to wrap the bike in Japanese style plastic around it would not look any better.
I My self I have swapped the rear fenders with the Laker Product and think it looks much better.
The Performance of the bike it self and comfort is what sold me.
I would buy another just for that.
I kind of like the look it has that Darth Vader look to it. Kind of Stealth... and I want to stand out from the rest of the Quads any way and not look the same...
Just my opnion ...

You need to ride one and then decide. The suspension is plush and after a day of long riding nothing beats a DS. Also what terrain are you going to be riding in? They are different... they defintely are noticed. Some still think it's a Polaris when I ride around in it.
The Suzuki's and Yammies have all a Raptor esqe look.... be different!

Just got back from four days down at Glamis, and the whole time out I only saw one other DS. Quite the head turner in a crowd. Tons of YZF's, TRX's, and Rappys. No personallity in keeping up with the Jonses.
Enjoy the view from behind.
