I know you can ride from Glamis to Gordons Well... Do you just follow the edge of the dunes all the way down? Is that what they call sand highway? I want to make that ride this weekend. Anyone done it before? Any landmarks to follow? Thanks

Default Glamis to Gordons

Cool thanks man... I usually ride at Buttercup but I'm heading to Glamis this weekend and want to make the trip from Glamis to Gordons cause there is one thing on that side that I just can't miss... Par-a-dice and their greasy breakfast is a must stop for my fat ***. I'll see if I can get to Olds on Saturday... I'd love to see that bike of yours whoop up on some scrubs. If a fat guy on a black DS rolls up on you it might be me... but good luck at the hill if I don't run into ya.

Late,
FatHolly

What the Hay? I asked about Pair A Dice on here just a couple of months ago and everyone looked at me like I had a third eye on my forehead.
So, since you two obviously know where it is, or have atleast heard about it, could you clue me in??? I have mentioned this place to several Glamis long time vets and they thought it must be over by Yuma or something, or that I dreamed of reading about it. I know I've read of it on several different sites, and was really looking forward to trying it out, but been told it didn't exist near the dunes.

Is it possible to make it from say Wash 10, down for a bite and back over on the same tank of fuel? How about with an IMS desert tank on the old DS?

Thanks

Ten four just head across the dunes west to the sand highway and go south when you get to gordonwells go all the way to the canal head west until you run into the pair'a'dice it is greasy food heaven in the desert and good atmosphere too!!! and no problem on fuel with a ims tank or even stock i belive.

And marine that is an awesome pic page you have i soupose we should thank god and the corp.that someone taught you how to use a cam. [b]

I'm not sure on the fuel thing, I have some friends camping at Buttercup this weekend and I'm going to scab some fuel and a couple beers from them to get back to where ever we camp at Glamis. As for Pair-a-dice it the greatest place on the face of the earth. LOL At least when your hung over and in serious need of some grease. Their food is in no way healthy, but very tasty. They have a bar and a small over priced store where you can get a 6 pack of Coors Light for like $15. Its right at Gordons Well exit. If you ride from Glamis cross the bridge over the canal and follow the road, go past the freeway overpass, its about 200 yards past that. Looks like a broke down shack but it really is great. You can park your bike there and head in for some good eats. Oh yea two words BREAKFAST BOWL.
