Default Mixing different brands of oil

Is this okay to do? I have a quart of Maxima and a quart of Honda HP4, both 10w40. Is it ok to use both of them? I do it all the time in my car with different brands, but bikes seem more sensitive to that kinda stuff.

It is never a good idea to mix different brand together in anything. Different brands have different additives and detergents in the and most are not compatible with each other. Its not a good idea, even for your car.
