Default I'm ds'less

Well I havent ridden the ds but 2 times in the last 4 months, a few weeks back, took it out to play at a drag strip, took it down, outran the person I went to outrun. Let a friend ride it, now he owns it. He is no stranger to the ds, he has an 01, and he may even start posting in here. I have met lots of noce people on here, and gotten lots of good advice. I have gotten bitten by the street car bug again in the last month, and I am going to be building an 86 Capri 5liter with a nice big single turbo, and front mount. If anyone is up in this direction and needs a hand with anything, let me know. I will still stop by every now and then to check in. Untill then...
Later
Justin

Gut it, I mean no dash, nothing but steel inside and one bucket seat. Make it your strip car. At least thats what I have done to mine. Got a built C4 with a billet backed 4500rpm converter on it. Havent got to the strip yet.

Street cars just get you in trouble, make it full bore and strip only!

that's a shame- you're a good representative of the ds community. You'll be back!
I did hear from one happy gentleman today, though- something about he'd never felt power like that before!

aw oh!! back to street cars...A step I am glad I passed on. You are choosing a nice chassis though. Fox body cars are great to mess with. Sometimes I miss my 88 coupe. Eventhough I wont admit it.

How bout a single 105 mm turbo on that thing!!!!

Got any ides on what motor your thinking of building?.
