on a more serious note now that its getting closer to the big showdown in la. we all know from all the many topics that worth is only up to the person who owns it. we can all agrea on that. whats worth it to me may not be worth it to someone else and vice versa.is there gonna be any 730 .800, stretched chopped nitrous turboed you name it gonna be at the clash so we can get a good feel for where these ideas all stand. i have seen alotof responses of different people who are going and i dont know most. how many different builders are we looking atand on an average how many total bikes are there. is anyone interested in holding a king of the hill tournament put together of all the people who have one the title at all the diferent events threw out the year. kinda like the superbowl party? i want to see just where these bikes all stand amongst each other. anyone thinking this is stirring the pot or just causing trouble you have missed whatthis topic is about. what im saying that maybe its more economical to stretch and litening your bike than it is to build your motor. just looking for ideas to help average joe gain some speed and power affordably.nut im being serious now

2big, I totally understand what your trying to say. I will be the first to tell you that my bike can and will be beat at the Clash of the Titans....thats racing. Now on the other hand, it will take some serious horsepower on a stock chassis (85-95 range). Now with me on the juice with a stock motor making say 80-90hp. I wouldnt be scared to say its gonna take 110+ on a stock chassis to take me out. There will be some 730's, 760's, 800's and even some 830 DS's running down here. Some will be on drag chassis's and some will not. Now this is talking about strictly DS 650's. There will be quite an assortment of wicked fast raptors in attendance as well. Silverbullet has one of the most impressive stock chassis raptors to have ever run a track. I would pit him against ANYBODY! But the bar has been raised and we are answering the call. Yes, Im thinking about piting the winners of each class at each event against one another at the Fall Jamboree this year for a "Super Clash" I guess you would call it. They will be named and recognized for that achievement.

Oh, I forgot to tell you what builders will be in attendance in March. You will have Top Secret Racing, THEBOMB Racing, Craycraft Racing & Finishline Racing. Now these are actual engine builders and not just bikes built by these folks. There will be other bikes there who were built by other builders like HPR, Tim Barker and Nicolas Cycle is expected. Not to sound stupid or to create any riots, but its gonna actually take a 300ish lb bike with around 100 hp to really try and stake a claim at the clash? i know alot of racing will be grudge matches andstuff like that after the title races are over with. how many bikes would you say there will be fighting for the main event. just saying if you were gonna line them all up at once for the king title how many would you say ? possibly 20 to30 that could all hang within a half bike length? you also said there was gonna be around 6 or so motor builders there. i watch to much tv becouse i was wondering if there is gonna be booths and stuff like that. i left before the real racing started at glamis so im trying to get a picture in my mind of the event. I dont know anything about where you guys are holding the event but how many people will it accomodate? I have seen the silver bullet and it looks awesome , who is the odds on favorite, i guess you would say the town favorite. Is there gonna be any awards for who travels the furthest to come to the event? Have you filled all the positions of the trophy girls? no but honestly will it take a combination chassis/ monster motor to actually win this. and do you think a ds can pull it off and take championship of the clash. I had an eddie sanders racing 450r stretched and lowered with some motor work with a kid on it honestly eat my lunch. i cant wait to see where all the ds bikes line up in the order.

In all reality, its going to take both a strong motor and chassis. The first couple of events were dominated by a chassis bike. Finishline Racings' little yzf(I believe it made around 55-60hp). It just flat out ripped everyone out the hole and no one could make up the difference. Though some came close. At the last event it took there bigger bore and stroked yzf on a superlight frame to win.

This clash will be alot faster than the others. Its going to take a 100hp plus on a sub 300lb frame to win. That's if the big bikes hold together. But with all that being said. Dax or Finishline might just surprise everyone with alot more horsepower out of there yzfs, thanks in part to NOS.

Its hard to pick a favorite but, I think THE BOM might have something up his sleeve.

As for the event, Unless something changes from now until the Clash, there wont be any vendors, other than builders selling spare parts out of there trailers.

I dont believe that this event is anywhere close to the Glamis race. But its still just starting to evolve. Who knows in a couple of years it might be the event to make. Parking can accomadate alot. Not sure on the exact numbers but, I think at the first Clash there were some 800 bikes (if I remember). Its growing from there.

A big Thanks needs to go out to Choose and Dennis for putting this thing on.

Thanks a whole lot Mike. I really appreciate the props. But Im very humble to be just a tiny help in the scheme of all that it takes to put on and organize an event of this proportion. Its not as big as Glamis but I can guarantee you one thing my friend...I would pit ANY of our bikes over here against ANY in the country and thats a fact. We have some of the most quality purpose built bikes that flat out rock in 300' of sand. Some of these bikes dont even let the sand settle at the launch before they are shutting down. They are seriously that impressing. I really see things happening as this event does grow. I hear that one of the local Honda dealerships will have a booth on site. It WILL definitely be the event to compare to within the next year or so....with the help from all who made it possible. I look forward to meeting new people everytime we hold one of these. THIS WILL BE THE PLACE TO SEE WHERE YOU STACK UP AGAINST THE FASTEST OF THE FAST,

I agree 100% with everything that has been said so far about this event!
I know you can hear and then go to races that are supposed to have fast bikes there and then you get there and it was not near as good as it sounded but, The bikes that are going to be at this event are the real deal and like Choose and Big DS said it might not be as big as Glamis as far as number people but as far as fast bikes I would match these bikes up against any of the bikes that race at Glamis.I am not trying to be a smart azz I am just saying that these bikes are very fast.

Choose, Maybe you should contact dbeck and see if he would get involved and maybe get some televised coverage. I see this even being huge... I will make it down sometime in the future.

i didnt read all the crap above because frankly...i dont like 2fat2bfast But i did read the last 2 sentences of his post and to answer your question it would be more beneficial to build a chassis to put down hp then to build a big motor and put it in a heavy, inefficient chassis.

id also like to give a reminder that you weigh 300+lbs...i wouldnt stick that wide load of yours anywhere near a lighten chassis!!! lmfao

cheers mate! lol
