any new motor mods? are you running a weisco piston. i was thinking about going with that 435 athena kit till i got the shee, i was looking at the hammerheadz piston for it and they said it was crazy. i cant remember if they had 1 for the 440 or not. what comp are you running with that kit? 12:1??

i love looking at picts of yours and mucky's quads. i wish you guys were closer so i could meet you guys. you always seem to have good advice and if you dont know you'll say so and try to find out some how.

i read you profile about six months ago. its a terrible thing to lose a loved 1.i think its cool you posted the story about him. i have alot of friends over there that left their wifes and kids. i pray for them all and their loved ones at home. thank you for the info on your brother, it brings us all back to reallity. are young brothers and sisters are fighting for are freedom!!!! god bless them all!

Thank you for your kind words.

I am running a wiseco piston, the compression is 12.5:1

If i had to do it over again I would more than likely go with the athena kit. I've had a couple issues with blowing head gaskets, but I think I have it figured out now.

The only new "performance" modification is the addition of a Sudco 41mm FCR. That should make it really rip!!!

what cams are you running, and are you running aftermarket valve springs? are you running pump gas or are you mixing alittle vp-u4. i have to run c12 strait in mine since i went to the 13.5:1.

i used the u-4 for awhile when i was stock, it gives it some pep, it revs alot faster and also cost about 7-8 a gallon.

what did that carb come off of?

I'm running both Hotcams and DRZE valve springs.

I run 93 octane, no pinging, so I'll stick to the pump for now (HAHA)

I have no idea what the FCR41 came off of originally, but it's strictly a race carb built by SUDCO. (no choke, etc)

Here's a picture:
