I JUST PURCHSED A 06 AC 250 WHILE RIDING TODAY NOTICED A WHINNING NOISE FROM THE REAR DIFF. FROM 10-25 MPH. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYBODY WHO OWNS ONE HAS NOTICED THIS IF SO IT MAY BE NORMAL.

First drop the caps, it's the same a yelling here. I was under the impression the 2006 250 was chain drive. If it is, then you can only have a solid rear axle and no differential. If it's this new, take it back to the dealer for a check.

I'm not sure what that noise is, as I have not noticed it on my machine....
The 250 does not have engine braking. Trust me as I learned this the hard way.
"Now try putting it in low and going down the hill with no brakes."
"OK!"
*crash*

Haven't even seen the ute model yet, much less gotten to ride on. The advise to take it back to the dealer for a check still stands, it will be a warranty item whether anything is wrong ot not.
