I am interested in upgrading my suspension on my 02 Raptor. I am leaning towards the Elka triple rates with piggyback rezzies up front and the rear Elka single rate with linkage in back. It is a big pill to swallow, probably in the area of $2200. Have you got any alternative suggestions or reviews on the Elka setup?

 

I have upgraded my 02 raptor suspension, I have +4 axle and + 2" A arms up front with Ohlin piggyback shocks all round, the best upgrade I have done on the whole bike, you will not believe how much better the ride is and how much faster you can go on the rough stuff and not notice it. The bike is that much more stable as well. You could just get the elkas for the front and get the rear shock revalved to save some coin. IMO pay the extra for the best to start with, no regrets that way[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Yeah, I have some basic works shocks up front and the stock rear shock. If I swap out the fronts and you want my works shocks, you can have them for the shipping again. Haven't made up my mind but I will pm you if I pull the trigger and you want em.

 

sure man... i'll take em.. i got a buddy with some tri-rate elkas he is selling off a raptor.. i will see if he still has em.
