Default 06 450r jetting Question

I just put a full DMC Aftermath Exhaust and a K&N filter on. i was wonderin if i should re jet? or how long i should ride it before i check the plug. i rode it for like 5 minutes tonight and checked it. i looked like a whitish gray. it seems to run okay, it kinda falls on it's face in first gear when i hit the throttle but it rips through the other gear. it pops when i start to slow down after full throttle. anyone have a suggestions. i live in northwest ohio, and have no clue what the elevation is. thanks for any help

Default 06 450r jetting Question

You deffinately need to rejet.
You should not even ride it without rejetting first!
Go to the DMC web site and see if they have jetting suggestions.
I don't know about the '06 450r, but the '04 and '05's had real small main jets. I think it was 118.
After piping, Uni filter and a cut open are box I went up to a 185 main. A big difference.
So definately rejet!
