Default After Market Air Filters?

I have 2 05 Rancher AT's. What else do I have to do if I put in aftermarket Air Filter's? And what kind should i check out? I don't want the foam/oil filters anymore they are a pain in the ***.

Thanks

I was looking at the K&N but will the filter fit on my quad or do I have to buy the whole Air Filter Kit? Do I have to change my pilot screws or jets?

Make sure you run an a outwear on the K&N. They flow more than foam but let more dirt through

I am running a 400. Is there any filters out there that you don't have to oil? Do they make dry filters?

If you have a foam filter you can use motor oil or a special oil. You pour it on the the filter then you kind of work the oil into the filter till it's saturated. I usually pour oil on the filter then put it in a big plastic bag to work the oil in the filter to avoid a mess. If you have a K&N filter they have special oil in a spray can that you just spray on the filter. A outerwear is a fabric skin that goes around the filter, some are waterproof, that acts as a prefilter. They are made by K&N or Outerwears
