My brother has been riding for a good 5-6 years now. He has had a trx 90, honda foreman 450es, and now a lakota 300. He wants a new atv mainly with speed equal to or greater than his lakota, and maybe 4x4. He was looking at the rappy 350 and the 300 ex. Are these any comparison to my kfx with my mods? Speedwise, powerwise, and jumpingwise. Any suggestions on 4x4's? All help is appreciated!

 

That raptor 350 and 300ex would have no chance keeping up with your quad, stock at least. If your brother wants to keep up with your quad, go with a z400 or a 400ex. Both are nice quads and aren't too expensive, not to mention they are reliable. If you want 4x4, I would get something around a 500 or larger but a 500 won't keep up with your kfx either.

 

yeah i figure he probably won't be able to keep up with me anyway. I love to race the trails at 50 mph, he is more in to playing around in the mud and top speed for the roads. I just don't want him going to fast and killing himself. I let him ride my bike once and he wheelied it into a ditch so i figured a rappy 350 stock wouldn't be to much for him. He's pretty light, like 100 pounds. Although I am only 120 pounds, i have been riding since i was 4 (12 years now). Any suggestions on big 4x4 rigs for him?

 

For a 100 pound kid? I would say a 400 to 500 cc atv. Mabey a Sportsman 500 or something along that line.
