Default BRP-Rotax

I've read the general history about BRP at their web page, but have a few questions I know someone out there knows.

Where are the Rotax engines cast and assembled? Canada? Austria? I believe Rotax has their history in Austria, but are they the same company that built the 2-stroke engines for snowmobiles, ultra light A/C, and the failed BD-05 homebuilt A/C of the mid 70's? (The BD-5J was the same A/C with a french jet engine we've all seen at the beginning of the James Bond film) Is the engineering side of Rotax co-located with the engine plant?

I know the ATV-Rotax engine assembly is moving to Mexico in the next couple of years, but is the engine assembled at one location in Canada and shipped to be installed as a "crate" engine at the ATV factory, or does it all take place at one location? Does anyone know if the engineering side of the house is moving to Mexico too?

Will pick up a recently purchased 800 Max in June and am interested in the company's history and how it all comes together.
