Can you really bump start a Yamaha with auto tranny?

I'm not doughting it, i've just never heard it done. Just figured you couldn't cause it has an auto tranny.

But i heard someone say something about it in a diffrent thread. How fast does it have to go to start?
Is it like the old for cars, where you have to get going rather fast for it to start turning the motor over?

Its another positive attriubute of a yamaha wheeler if its a simple task to do and your starter and pull rope go out.
