Default Grizzly bogs in shallow water

Whenever I am in water more than a foot deep my Grizzly bogs. It doesn't die just doesn't have power. Any ideas?

Maybe try spraying a garden hose on the electrical components one by one, and see if you can get it to bog down and narrow down the problem to one area.

What year is your Grizz?

If you update your profile with your quads info it will keep people from asking. The profile will help in giving the correct answers to specific problems.

It could very likely be steam getting up into your intake. I have heard of this happening on many grizzlies. I'm not sure about how to fix it though.

OK, I'll give that a try, is that a common problem?

My 04 Griz did that a few times , and I put the dielectric grease on the fornt diff. plugs and have not had it happen, also if you hit water fast, yes the steam will get sucked in and it will sputter a little.

I just commented on a problem just like yours a few minutes ago. The next time you ride and start to go through a mud hole or shallow water, try putting your grizz in low range. If i am in high range, my grizz will loose power and spit and sputter. Soon as I'm out, it runs fine. If I put it in low range and go through the same hole of water or mud, it performs just fine. Try it and let me know!
