Default P700 Creaking Noise

This may very well have been answered already but I need help. I have an 05' Prairie 700 Team Green and last weekend I was riding through a trail slow and lots of uneven terrain and I noticed a creaking noise coming from what sounds like the front right hand side when sitting on the wheeler. Since the trail the only way I can reproduce the noise is to drive through the big ditch in front of my house at an angle stuffing either front wheel. I also notice that I can almost feel the noise in my running board on the right side. Is this something any of you have experienced before??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Yep, thats what I would say too, the swingarm bearngs can be felt in the floorboards and make a creek sound to start with then a poping and creeking then you can feel the back end getting loose and a mind of its own.

Ok well it seems like the concensus is that it is the swingarm bearings....... Now is this something that I can fix myself........ I'm no ASE mechanic but ive built motors and rebuilt rear diffs in my pickups and stuff like that. Is there any place to get instructions to do it myself?? Thanks again for the quick reply...

Take them off, grease them, then reinstall...

I did it and no more squeak...

nyroc or kiss of death might have the procedure on their site. It's no big deal but a P700 should be underwarrenty.

Some tips:
1). Use plenty "waterproof" grease, like Bel-Ray, on the pivot bearing/shaft/seals, not just any grease.
2). OEM is a open-type tapered roller bearing. See if you can find sealed-type of the same size for longer life...
3). When tightening the pivot bolt/nut, the torque should be around 112 ft-lbs.

It depends on when he bought it, 05's came out in late summer early fall o4' 6months could be long over by now. I paid the dealer to do mine. I think it cost me about 300.00, that was everthing parts, labor and tax. It looked like a pain in the butt to do, so I just bit the bullit and had them do when they did the recall on the frount end, I figured since I did not buy it there that I would stand a better chance of getting the recall done if I gave them a paying job too.
