Default Bombardier and dealer screws me!

I bought a Max400 Xt in January and the dealer said i got the warranty and the rebate. The dealer registered the machine at 6 months and keep my rebate!

BRP said they would do nothing.

What should I do?

The last two motorcycles I bought I signed a notice whereby I agreed that only terms in writting are legally binding and that any verbal agreements or promises have no effect. So go back and check your purchase documents and see exactly what terms you have agreed to in writting. Verbal promises are just words and will do you no good. This is good for everyone because spoken words are too easily forgotten and too often missunderstood.
I also signed a document agreeing to arbitration in case of any contract dissagrements. You may have done the same and if so then your only option may be arbitration.

Contact the your State Attorney General's Comsumer Affairs Office and make a complaint. If what you say is true, the dealer commited a fraud which is probably a felony.

Unless you have it in writing you have no recourse. It won't matter who you inform - BRP, BBB, or Attorny General, because it becomes "he said, she said."

Consider it a rather inexpensive lesson and I'm quite sure you won't make the mistake again. Could have been a new car or worse a house, and that would have been expensive.

"My sales paper is different from theirs with different VINS"

What!!

Is it just a honest typo, or is the difference more than that? And what does your SOO say? If the BOS and SOO agree, and they are different from the bike, you need to contact a lawyer because it opens all sorts of issues, most of which play into your hands.

In any event you need to get the difference corrected soonest. The difference will not wash with the state when it comes time to title. If you do not title the machine because you ride only off road and the the SOO is different, then it becomes a problem when you decide to sell.

if i were you i would strap some dynamite to the 400 XT and drive it through the dealer's window. you should probably use duct tape and tape the throttle down so you dont die in the process. then...BOOM!!!!! thats just me tho. cuz im a bad ***/dumb ***.
