i blew my z up and dont know what to do with the motor. Should I bore? If so how big? What company should i go though for parts and what compression piston. i do lots of woods and open field riding and looking into racing. Need something VERY reliable but keeps up or beats the new 450s in our crew. also cams? would like to it somewat cheep but i would do what it takes I need some opinions please

Cheap and fast do not go hand in hand.. Honestly I'd do a 2mm stroke w/ an Athena jug. We own an Athena and Yoshi 450z. After riding and such this is the compromise we think would be best.. The Yoshi has the grunt due to it's 5mm stroke, but doesn't rev like the Athena.. Both are ported w/ same, compression, hot cams, dyna ignition, slightly diff carbs..
