MY LT230S SMOKES WHITE ALOT IT HAS NEW RING WHY DOES IT SMOKE WHITE THANKS

 

mine does it to it is the rings. does it slip at high speeds and just rev up also? take it apart and get a new top end, bore it and everything

 

mne is a 86 it runs good and fast tho

 

does the smoking stop after it gets warmed up or does it always smoke? me was fast and it just went down hill from there.

 

it stops after a while some times i want to trade it for a dirtbike

 

IF IT STOPS AFTER IT WARMS UP IT IS THE INTAKE GUIDE SEAL . LIKE AT START UP THEN QUITS ITS THE INTAKE SEALS

 

you seem to know about atvs what does it mean when it stops smoking after a while and how do i fix it and what about if it dont stop smoking its white and would you know any one with dirtbikes to trade

the intake seal is easy but if i had it apart that far iwould cheak the valves. Or you might just try this trick i learned some years ago from a car sales man. The air box has to be percectly clean or dont try. Use baking soda the not powder, and sprinkly just a little dust in the intake. no clumps, just a fine dust . Have it reved to about 2000rpms while sprinkling it in. this will take the glaze of of the cylinder wall. Old cars trucks, on like a small car this will work to trade it in. it will stop smoking for about 6 months if its the rings. thats if the rings are still in good shape
