im 13 and i have a honda 250ex and i want more power do you guys think i should modify it or get a bigger quad

 

You can get more power out of your current bike but still probably wont be happy.If it is possible get a new quad

 

Trade it in, there's a lot of good reasons that it just doesn't make sense to modify the 250ex. You can't change the gearing, the stock shocks suck, it has poor suspension travel, aftermarket support is pitiful, you won't be able to squeeze much extra hp out of that engine no matter what you do, and you'll have better resale value on a stock 400 than you will on a modified 250, because given the choice, 99% of people shopping for a quad would rather have a stock 400 than a modified 250 that is still slower than the 400.

any 400 would be far better than your 250 and a good choice for your age, but the kawis, zukis, and ACs are better all-around compared to the 400ex.

I don't blame you, I don't know anyone that had a quad that came close to being as reliable as my recon and my bro's 250ex.

 

new quad. maybe a 450R? that should have enough power.
