Default Dyno jet kit OOPS

Ok...Heres the deal..I own a 1989 warrior, And installed the dyno jet kit. It runs perfect, But i looked on the paper work after the install and it says for 1993-2004 warrior....so i go to thier web site and see they only make one jet kit for the warrior and it says thoes same years....what is going on? and if its not for made for my year warrior, why is it running so good with it?
Thanks!

Did you install the new needle that came with the kit? That's the only difference. If you did install the needle, maybe it works because a previous owner converted it from the old carb to a new one. Old carbs have 2 throttle cables, new ones only have a single cable.

I thought the difference was the needles were different lengths. But hey, if it's working fine then don't worry about it, just make sure you check your plug a few times and make sure your jetting is ok

Thanks..i sent dyno support an email to see what they have to say about my situation. When i put the carb back on after installing the jet kit, i took it for a ride and when i shut it off gas started pouring out of the overflow..so i took the bowl off and worked the float a bit and sprayed it down with carb cleaner and that seemed to stop the leaking....this needle wouldnt have anything to do with that would it?

no, the needle wouldn't make a difference for that. Just keep an eye on your overflow hose, if the float stuck once it's liable to stick again. It sucks when you're out on the trails and don't realize you have a stuck float until it shuts off on you because the entire tank drained through the overflow

Ok..heres the email i got back from dynojet:

If your bike is running well leave the kit in. We have never tested the kit in your year bike. It is likely that it will work just fine.

Yamaha seems to have put sh!tty pet ***** in some tanks. The seals leak and need replaced if the gas cannot be shut down...I think polaris shares the same petcock guts...
