Yamaha Raptor 660 Exhaust tip

I'm guessing that you are talking about the spark arrestor. Go ahead and take that thing out. It will make your bike sound better, and it might free up a little bit of power but probably not enough to notice. There is an 8mm bolt on the bottom. Just take that out then twist out the S.A. You might need some pliers or somethin to get it out as it might be kinda tight. Its not a huge change, so rejetting really isn't necesary. Just take it out and go.

ive tried it, but i cant pull it out. i used some pooor plyers and fencing plyers. both gripped it but i couldn't pull it out, i was just pulling the quad. i then stopd the quad from moving and still can't get it out. ive sprayed it with wd40, im stuck as i dont think it wants to come out. [ i did all this with the small bolt out] lol
