Out Law looks great, but ergonomics?

Nice, well built machine; very impressed. I could go on and on about how sweet it is.
I'm 5'11" and found the half foot well and pegs too far back for comfort. It just won't work for me. If they were maybe 4 inches forward it would feel much better. Maybe nerf's would correct this feel???
I'm almost sure if I had time as a sport rider this wouldn't be an issue and would feel normal. I wouldn't want to chance it and find out that I never got used to it. It would be for trail riding and some dune fun. Any thoughts???
Just dreaming but I would have a tuff time choosing between this and the Sportsman 500 EFI (not withstanding the above). I know how different they are but they both are so nice. Why did Polaris do this to me. LOL

I went to my local dealer on Friday and I threw a leg over an Outlaw and to me it felt really good, even for my 6'4" frame. To me, the bars felt a tad low, but I'm also coming off a Scrambler so I'm sure I'd get used to it. You're right though, I could go on and on about the Outlaws too!

i think your just used to the recliner feel of 4x4 quads. i felt the same way when i hopped on my Pred. you get used to it and learn to love it. its just like riding a crotch rocket

spyder6,
No doubt your right. I am use to full floor boards (foot well) too. I worry about my foot falling off forward and snapping my ankle under the foot peg of the half floor board like the one on the Outlaw.
Is this an unlikely scenario?

i've seen it happen only once, and it was like ahalf wreck thing. just get nerfs, they're soooooo useful.
i came from my sport to my pred. went from nice comfy seat to a crotch rocket feel like spyder said. he's right though, it grows on you pretty quickly and today when we went riding i sat on a scrammy seat and it felt sooo "different"

BUY it
you will love it so much fun and the ride is great...Few things that must be done...1st I would change bars and raise them up 2 inches with a riser...Then add some good tires razr2's or Irazrs. Then if you want add some front shocks off a troy lee preadator..Just make sure you order them for 05 for some reason they are cheaper than o6?which I dont get because they are same shock....I also scored some IMS pegs off rocky mountain for 160 bucks they were for a preadator but they fit just fine..I did have to adjust foot levers up some to accomidate size of new pegs...
Anyway go get one...
