Yeah, Like that. No heavy Sportsman chain case. Chain drive. Double A-arms, inboard Disc Brake. Manual clutch & 6-speed tranny + Reverse. Electronic Fuel Injection. Altitude sensing, 4 or 5 valve OHC. Balance shaft, liquid cooled, Aluminum frame. Everything lightweight, under 400 lb machine. Extras-- Auto with Hi/Lo + 40? lbs. 4 wheel drive + 60? lbs. So the 4-wheel drive auto
would weigh less than 500 lbs. That's only 50 lbs lighter than a Scrambler 4x4, but with I.R.S.
A wide stance like the DS with the 4-wheel independent suspension would make it very spider-like, with incredible ground clearance and incredible suspension, handling and power. Adjustable Anti-sway bars perhaps front and rear,
tunable steering geometry and dampening could provide the ajustments to tune the bike for any conditions from hare scrambles to mountain trail riding to motocross. And ride like a Sportsman.
Wouldn't it be nice if this were the next generation of Polaris?
Silly Later,,,,,Fourlix
