400ex, banshee or 250r for hair scramble, drag, ice and trail

ive saved up about 2800 and am going to by a new quad and was looking at these 3 the banshee 400ex and 250r and was wondering witch of these would be best for hair scramble racing, some ice cross, drag racing and for just tight and tenichal trail rideing with mud rocks and hills...i would also like a reliable mechine

Those riding condition vary more than the listed quads. I will say that a 400ex, would be the best of those choices. It won't be the fastest in the races, but Banshees are not that easy in the tight technical trails.
$2,800 could get you a 250r, and it would work in those riding conditions, but thay are almost 20 years old. It will need upkeep and maintance. Most $2,800 400ex's are in better shape than $2,800 250r's.

what about a warrior then? or is a 400ex better in thoughs conditions then a warrior as well cuz there are some pritty nice used one in that price range as well

going from a 300ex to a warrior, you will probably feel no difference in performance, buy a used 400ex with a pipe and jet kit, around here u can get a 2002 400 ex with that for around 2500

go with the 400ex. they are graet in all the things you talked about. they arent going to be the fastes but you said something about be reliable and the 400ex is by far the most reliable quad out there

400ex all the way! But i have seen some really nice 660 raptors go for pretty cheap, around 2800. Then you have reverse. But if the 400 is what your looking for go for it! Peace.
