Default racing flywheel and starter block off

There are a couple of shops that will do the machining for you, removing the starter is logical. Not required, it just won't work. If weight is your issue remove it and block it off. RCR will do the work, and will be helpful with questions and concerns. I think there is a couple of types of lightening, one removes the ring gear and one doesn't.I guess keeping the starter is an option.

I have a RCR race lightened flywheel, it removes the starter ring and lightens the flywheel by about 2.5lbs. The trail flywheel leaves the starter ring and lightens it a pound or so. Rick Ritter done a GREAT job on mine and it revs alot faster now.
