Default Oil Filter on 650

I'm rather new to doing maintenence on my machines, I changed the oil yesterday on my AC 650, but I cannot find the oil filter. I didn't want to start taking off panels until I knew approximatly where it is...

Can anyone point me in the right direction??

Thanks

Do you have the V2 or the H1? You really can't miss it, it is black and in front of the engine. No need to remove pannels to get at it. Good Luck

I've got the V2, man I have looked all over for it. I have the replacement and I'm familiar with what an oil filter looks like. I'm not sure how I could be missing it.

Default Oil Filter on 650

hey sconny,I just got my first AC 650 a couple of weeks ago. the oil filter is on the left-front on the very botom of the motor. I havent changed it yet but I think you might have to remove the skid plat?

Just remove the front left pannel (2 shoulder screws, 2 self tapping screws, and one zip tie), and you can get to the filter easily without removing the skid plate. It is a little cramped but I used one of those $2.00 plastic removers that attach to a socket wrench. Works very well.
