I'm 15 6'2" tall and want to race, But i cant race until i'm 16, people say if i want to race now i would need a 90cc quad,yeah right just picture someone 6'2" on a 90 cc quad, anyway what is a good quad to add performance parts to (something above a 250).

 

Do you have a four wheeler?

 

I have an 04 honda recon es with race mods.

 

there are several sport quads around the 300 to 400 cc range that would be good to start with, just go test drive a few and see which one you like the most.

 

what kind of racing are you wanting to do.

YFZ450 IMO

 

Man i would go with the raptor 700. lower to the ground and wider then the pervious raptor and that 700 will be more powerful then any other ATV out there no doubt. I tell ya, yamaha will have a hard time selling thier yzf450s with the way they built up the new rappy.

 

Get a 450, get used to it for a year and add parts to it during that time then race when you turn 16.
