raptor axle bearing removal

yea so i broke a chain adjuster bolt and need to get the bearing carriers out so that i can see where im drilling through this hole......got the axle out just fine but not having any luck with two cast pieces on either side of the bearing housing....how the hell do you get these off!!!! i know you have to get the spacer to separate from the bearings....any help would be great!!

Well here is how i did it... Im not saying to do it this way but i did it with what i had. A hammer, and a lot of cussing..... Really, i just kept banging on the side where the brake rotor was till it came off. Sorry but i dont have any advice on how to do it right. All i can say is that it sucks.

I know exactly what your talking about. I end up breaking my chain tensioner bolt too & had to change the bearings. After alot of beating & drilling I end up buying another carrier off of ebay. It can be done, it just takes time.
Advise: I put a big chisel & sprayed WD40 in the housing to get the old bearings out.

use a plastic mallet and a piece of wood to rap on it till the 2 sides seperate
throw the carrier on top of a woodstove or in the oven for a bit,,,,the aluminum will expand and the bearing should come out a bit easier
