I'd say it would depend on the surface a little but i think you'd smoke him. He will gwt you on the top end but make sure the course isn't more than 300 feet. When you put it on him, throw him some rope and tell him he has a nice boat anchor......

If you both get equal traction, you should jump him off the line, then he'd pass you (eventually), but you'd pass him again. My lt goes about 7 mph faster than my z should. I've never actually opened my z up on a wide open stretch of road with a car clocking me, but did it with the lt. Actually, my brother did with the same mods gearing etc. He got 74 or 75.
He'll probably get the jump on you most of the time, because you'll be spinning.

race him in a pit. That seems to be where they shine is in the wide open and the sand. I do have a blown rear shock on mine, but before I got my z I was riding with a bunch of people on 4 strokes (2 yfz 450's, 2 400ex, z400 and some utes.) They'd jump ahead of me on the tight technical stuff (just the sport quads), but once we hit a straight away I was right up their @sses again. At the end of the day I felt like I'd been beaten, but everybody else was fine.
