This forum used to sound just like the Yamaha forum. Maybe we can expect quite a bit of change from them in 7 years. This is called corporate maturing......

I thought this was interesting

In the beginning.....

Hey I was 23 when I wrote that and it would be another year before I moved to Los Angeles, another 1.5 years until I bought my first DS650! I still stand behind what I said then as well. Too bad the guy who's post I was responding to edited out whatever was said. That was a looooong time ago! Funny thing, I had already been on the forums for more than a year at that point. The only guy I knew of at the time who had a DS650 (or somewhere in that area) was ScoobyDFW, though he didn't go by ScoobyDFW at the time; even though he did live in Texas back then.

Wow, what a time warp!

This brings up a funny instance. Awhile back I was bored and decided to go through old bomb posts. I came accross a post on carb problems that a member was having when he purchased the woods stage 1. Yep it was scooby. It was funny reading them old posts and thinking "man that bike has came a long way from what it was.....But People have got to start somewhere.

DragonDJ11,

That is sick to think about. Whats worse? There are people on here who have posted much more, and spent much more time online here than I have - it seems they've done it in only a year or two as well! That makes me not feel quite so bad.

You have a ton of posts because you don't do anything else the rest of the day besides sit around and read what everyone is talking about.
