Check out a new on-line site I just ordered from...Metric Power Sports. These guys were great. They deal in both OEM and aftermarket parts, so it is one-stop shopping.
They bent over backwards to get me new fenders shipped at a good price. Several of the other on-line sites won't even ship them, since they are oversize. Others wanted 50% more than MPS did.
Check them out.

Please remember when price shopping that Barnett has 2 different clutches for the DS, a 8 plate standard clutch kit and the more expensive 9 plate kit recommended for high horsepower applications. We (on-dunes) stock the 9 plate kit. Also be advised that Barnett has announced a substantial price increase, I have 7 kits available at current store pricing after that they go to $204.50 !!! I had to plead and beg with Barnett to receive dealership status, if we do not follow there price structure we will lose our ability to order from them. On a happier note I am making progress on a LOCK OUT KIT for the DS, once it is in the store the need for replacement clutches will be substantually reduced. Ron.

$200 bucks are you kidding me? I paid under a buck twenty last year from Ondunes, with Marky!! This is getting rediculous!! Profit margins are one thing, but come on. If Barnett is behind all of this, come on Hinson. That stock clutch with 80% springs is sure sounding better!

I don't know what exactly you do in construction but I will throw this out there. My cost on a 2000 sqft home has increased about $20k in the last 10 months partly because of the cost of oil and how it effects every part of my business. I think every industry is getting hit the same. It is outrageous, I know, but I don't know what to do about it.
I know it is a stretch to compare houses to clutches but I think everything is getting this way. I don't think it is all profit margins causing the increases, I could be wrong though.

Nut its a good analogy, but if you take last years retail cost of 135 for the clutch. Take the thirty percent margin for dealers off, equals 94.50. You telling me that the retail cost has gone up 66% because of inflation. Cause if thats the case, I am not charging near enough. Lets take that same analogy, and take a 200,000 home. And add 66% to it. 332,000! Hmm, who wants a home? Lol.
