The clutch is dragging. Sometimes it's from the heat, sometimes it's because you need an oil change or a different weight/type of oil.

Try this. Put it in reverse and when it starts creeping backwards rev the engine and hold the rpms up, it'll probably stop rolling. If it stops rolling it's because of clutch drag, the next thing would be to try a different oil. If you're using the same kind of oil you were using in the winter chances are it's too thin and allowing more friction.

Default warrior moves in reverse?

On my warrior i find it easiest to get it outta reverse if im rolling grab clutch and flip the revers to foreward in motion. seems like there is always somthing to each one that you gotta do.

Must just be a Warrior thing. My 2004 does it, my 2000 did it. I usually have to make sure it is in a gear before using reverse, to get either in or out. Won't do it from neutral without really getting stuck in between. Usually have to rock it and feather the clutch until it snicks into place. Has been known to make a horrendous tick/grind noise if not all the way in. Ouch!

Happy trails!

ok kid just stopped home so i ran out and tried it again if i put it in reverse from neutral with clutch out it kills the motor right away, if i put it in reverse from neutral with the clutch in starts creeping backwards right away if i put it in reverse with clutch in and when it starts creeping if i rev engine up it still creeps and if i then let the clutch out while still reving it goes backwards faster. if i got it in reverse with no throttle and its creeping if i put on the brake and rev it up then let it idle normal it does not creep at all until i start to let the clutch out, any ideas? real bitch to get from reverse to forward also and it drives me crazy trying to find neutral when in forward, asked my kid about it he told me "nah i just dont use it" whats with that! lol my other boy told me he over filled the oil alittle when doing the oil change today wonder if that could be the culprit? cant check now hes gone to his buds for the night but will check tomorrow and take some out if needed and let ya all know.

Both our warriors creeped in reverse.
I had an older '88 and wife has a '98.
Didn't matter on reg oil or the synthetic I switched them too.
