Default Bought daughter a 1987 Yamaha Warrior 350

Just bought daughter a '87 Yamaha Warrior. Did the normal tune-up. I bought her a new Pro Circuit 496 exhaust. Very nice! I have a T4 on my 400ex. Any thing I should know? Also, what size is rear sprocket?

I bet she loves that. What did you have to give for it?

Make sure that you have the jetting adjusted for the new exhaust.

Probably didn't get a good deal. But, daughter loves it. It's in good condition. I paid $2100

Back east, yes. Things are cheap out there. Not here in California. Especially here in the "high desert". I see Atc's for $2,000! We have the red and green sticker game here too. $2100 is the cheapest I found.

for 2100 you could of bought a modded 87 from vermont and had it shipped to your house and saved $500

No doubt, I am sure! What MODS can be done. Curious?

Not all ATVs are treated the same. I would rather have a 87 that I know is in good shape vs a 97 that could been beat every day of its life.

Does it still have the stock style air filter that requires the air box lid? if so, I would replace it with a aftermarket clamp on filter kit. Pro Design and Noss machine both make nice kits:

http://www.prodesignracing.com/pro_flow_kits.htm $99 with foam

http://www.nossmachine.com/yamaha_atv_parts.htm $70 with foam

The rear sprocket should have its size stamped in it somewhere. It could have been swaped out at some point.

I got mine out of me '01. I am not sure if it is the same filter or not. It is used, and needs to be cleaned. But I bought the K &N filter and adapter so I can't use it again..If you want it PM me with an offer...
