ok, so i just bought a new honda TRX250EX and i need a 10 hour check up- but the guy said it would cost 285 dollars for 3 hours of work and i know two friends who got 2 bikes checked up in one hour for only 85 dollars, is this guy messong with me and i should ask other dealers what their prices are for 10 hour checkups or does it really cost that much? Please help, i feel like im getting messed with in this process. Thanx.

 

that is very expensive I would get another quote, or even do the service yourself as long as the warrenty is unaffected.

 

I would call a few other random Honda dealers and see what they are getting for the checkup. Also, if you have changed the oil already, you can go longer than 10hours for the checkup if needed.

 

you should take it to the same dealership as your friend. but if it was the same one ask for someone else to get you a quote.
