Has any one used one of these yet?? and how did they work out???Tiny Tach model 2CR for the DS650

They make a back lighted one also for $30 bucks more (12volt) hook up

 

With it updating "every two seconds", I can't see it being much good aside from setting idle speed.

 

It does update rpm alittle faster and it will tell you peak rpm for a second after you shift.
For setting idle and general rpm ok, but for dragging and shifting at high rpm's, it is too slow to be very accurate. I used one many years ago on a yamaha warrior and it worked ok, but that machine accelerated much slower.
