Default I DON"T GET IT ?????

MAN, I am confused
I just put my engine back together.
bored 60 over , new torqe reeds and i just rebuilt the carb.
there is gas in the bowl and my petcock is feeding my carb
compresionis at about 165, and my sprk is great.
but i can kick that thing a thousand times and it just does not want to fire.
i had it started for about a minute then it cut out. so i rebuilt the carb,
that didn't help.
did any body else out there have similar problems?
and what did you do
I don't want to pay a dealership 70 bux an hr if it is something simple

I do have the air box cover off, could that be the problem, too much air?

Yes, too much air and it will not run. Try putting the box back on, It also has to be timed right.

check the ground wire to the coil. If it ran for a few mins and then just cut out something could have rattled loose.

kill switch ground??? could be something that simple....

Hope you find it.
