Default what can you do

I've been cutting down huge trees in my back yard lately and using my 650 to skid the logs through the woods and to a pile. I'm using a nice solid chain to hold onto the logs (easy on/off with the hook), but use tube strapping (used for rock climbing) to connect between the chain and 4wheeler. The strap actually is somewhat of a safety feature and I've had it snap once when a huge 12' oak log got stuck on a stump. Small price to pay. Anyway, I've pulled out quite a few huge logs now and just can't express how impressed I am with this beast. In fact, I keep thinking..."hmmm...definitely not going to be able to pull that one"...and then I do!

Anyone else test the limits of your 4wheeler beyond just mudding?

No stories for my H1 yet, but with my dad's 2000 500 auto we pulled the F-150 4.5 miles into the shop. And with my old 2004 400 auto I pulled my Bronco II 3 miles to the shop. However the most work that thing went through was hauling out my moose. Very rough terrain, a creek, and the racks were loaded with meat. I had to use the winch more times then I can remember and had a GPS to guid me. Check out in my picts

I'm the same as catterman, my H1 hasn't been tested yet, but as for my 97 454 last year pulling my moose out of the bush. When it came time to dress out my moose we relised that we were missing our saw, so we just dragged the whole thing back to our camp which was about 8 miles away. I wish I could say it handled it well but it was a hard pull and nothing broke and at least I have a good story to brag to all my die hard honda friends! P.S and CAtterman, I didn't have to use my winch once lol.

Hey Catterman, that is a nice moose by the way. I always get drawn for cow moose so they are generally a little smaller(but not much).

I used my 400 ac to pull a 3500 bucket lift up my hill in the side yard to cut down 2 trees. I put it 4 low and it towed it right up the hill.

I scaled about a 60 yard long small field of piled up asphalt from an old road. I had to get off it a couple of times and hold it from tipping over, thats how tall some of the chunks were! And thank god I have plastic skid plates! But all in all, I made it , by my self, which I cant say for my buddy and his sp700, who had to break out the winch, along with breaking some plastic! Who can match AC's articulation, and ground clearance?........

I probably won't get another chance to get a moose, as here in MN it is a once in a lifetime license, however while living in Alaska it was every year and didn't cost a dime. We couldn't even shoot cows though, only bulls. Good luck on getting a bull license next time!
