Default 06' Brute 650 Radiator Fan Duration

Just wondering, I know it is normal for the cooling fan to come on after you shut her down and she's warm. Today, I just noticed my fan stayed on for about 3 and a 1/2 minutes straight and then cut off. Coolant level is fine. Temp outside was 80F and I was tooling around doing donuts and stuff. Does 3 or 4 minutes sound okay for this fan to stay on? My Nissan Altima fan does this when I shut it down, but for only 30-45 seconds. Apples and oranges I know, but...

My brothers P650 (basically the same engine as yours) will often run the fan for several minutes after shutdown. I've never timed it, but 3 to 4 minutes sounds about right for riding in 80 degree weather.

Thanks a bunch Jaybeecon55! I really enjoy this ATV. I get a lot of comments on it when I am out and about from people running Polaris's and AC's. No ATV is perfect, but for the price the Brute Force seems to really deliver on the bang for the buck factor!
