Default Anyone have part # for later style oil sensor plug?

My oil pressure sensor on my 2000 ds went bad, so I ordered a new sensor. Turns out they've changed the style of the sensor, so my plug doesn't match up. Does anyone know the part number for the new style plug? I tried looking at the microfiche and had no luck, any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mech.

I’m guessing you’re talking about the electrical plug, if so try looking under an 05 ds diagram and look in the Electrical Harness, Frame schematic, it will be in the upper right hand corner, description numbers are 062,073, 339 and 596. I hope this is what you’re looking for.

This is the part number for both a 2000 and a 2001 ds, 711 256 770. I looked at the parts catalog for both years and the 2001 looks different than the 2000's. You might want to check into seeing if they changed the switch back in 2001.

You will have to update to the new one. You just have to change the plug on the wire.
