Default 450 sprocket

One of my friends is going to be using some 4-snows for some races this coming weekend.Where can he buy a smaller front sprocket?Thinking he may need lower gearing.

Sorry for the empty post. Yes the front sprocket is the same as the Z400. As far as I know only Primary Drive makes a 13 tooth, stock on the R450 is 14. Look at RMATV for it. Around $7.95 I think. That's where I got mine from.

My bad, I had the rear sprocket on my mind... do you know who sells them besides Sprocket Specialist, who then charges you an arm and a leg to make one????

RaptorOwner,

Just trying to help, so don't kill the messenger. I got my rear sprocket thru Sidewinder. I hate plugging companies on these threads. It wasn't by any means cheap. Around $135. I know Renthal has them also, but they are aluminum. I used to use Renthal all the time on my dirt bikes, but word on the street is the 3 big 450s destroy the aluminum sprockets within a couple of months. The SW is tool steel, and they actually say it doesn't wear. I don't know about that, but if I get two to five seasons at Glamis in that sand, then it kind of pays for itself. I know that is alot of money for a sprocket, but what can you do? Like I said just trying to help.

Scott
