i might have found a used Blaster to buy.. what do i need to check out on the engine/tranny/ suspension so i know if it needs work.. and if so.. how much

Biggest thing I think would probally be taking it for a ride, work the gears, any major problems should show up... dont screammmm the gears, just crrrruuuuuzzzzzzzz.. there really is not much to them. find out how many times its been blown up.. who did the work.. wiggle it around and check for loose bushing/bearings... check by the front sprocket for case cracks.. look for greese caked up on the motor, a sure sign of leaking gaskets... uhh..... I guess that about covers it.. make sure you take it for a ride, if the engine is hot before you ride it or before you show up I'd be conserned... my blaster starts first kick, after you jump it and ride it for a while..
