I love my Outtie 400HO!! That would be my choice. For more info on the Outtie 400 check out the Bombardier forum at www.atvfrontier.com there super 400 friendly over there. Lots of experienced 400 owners. Hope this helps.

I can't speak for the Rubicon, but I can for the Bomb 400. The Outlander is awesome! It handles high speed trail riding with ease. It is a comfortable ride in the woods. There is a displacement difference between the two, but the Outy is a very powerful for a 400 and I wouldn't be surprised if it outperforms the Rubicon in all aspects including price and value. I paid just under $6000 for an Outy 400 with 42 months of warranty a few days ago. I know the MSRP of the Rubi is 7299.00 and our local dealer won't take anything less than MSRP.

I recommend taking a good look at the features of both machines and dealer support. Really, you are comparing the oldest designs in the ATV market with the Honda and the newest innovative ATV designs in the Bombardier.

Hey newbomber, I lived in Logan for about 5 years before I went active Army. My wife is from up there. I actually grew up in Spanish Fork, and I have noticed that there a lot of Utah boys on the bomb boards.

Anyway, no the Rubicon is a dual shock SRA with 7.5 inches of ground clearance. More reasons to go with the Outlander.
