I've got an 87' Suzuki LT230E Quad Runner and I'm hunting for a replacement battery. The original battery was a Yuasa brand YB10-A-B1. I've called multiple dealers as well as Battery stores & all of them tell me they don't have a replacement available. Anybody out there got a cross reference other than measuring and getting a "size" match one?

 

so youve tried powersports dealers and THEY couldnt order the battery? thats crazy. Where i go, i give them the name and year of the machine and tell em what part i need, and im done. they order it and i get it in a few days. good luck with your hunt man!

Thanks for the tips guys, I was able to locate a replacement for $29.99 at a Batteries Plus. It's a 10 series battery as a 12 series is too large for the battery tray on the 87 LT 230 E. Trust me when I say that because apparently my brother-in-law stuffed a 12 series in there a long time ago and I had almost 40 minutes in getting that wedged cheap piece O' crap out of there. Thanks again!
