I just bought a brand new 2005 AC 250 2x4 this morning. I really like the atv but having one problem, for some reason, it won't idle. I first just thought it needed to be rode awhile, so i rode it about thirty minutes straight, then stopped and put it in neutral. It idled for about 3-5 seconds then died. I never could get it to idle the whole time i was riding. I checked the manual and it shows there is an idle adjustment screw. It has a teeny-tiny picture of the screw, and to tell you the truth, i cant find it on the motor. Anybody help with that?? Will this take care of my problem?? Any help would be appreciated.

 

There is and idle spped adjustment screw, look in your owners manual on page 138 for location and what to do. If that does solve it, it's new and the dealer will fix it for free. Take it there, as screwing around anymore with it yourself could void any warranty you might have.
