Raptor nitrous
#1
I have a 720 stroker raptor running a boondocker nitrous kit the biggest they make is a 20 shot which i ran all summer last year on my bike with just a piston and cam I know my new kit can handle more but the bigest boondockers make is a 20 shot. what I wondering is, is there any way i can modify this kit to get more out of it really dont want to buy a whole new kit. can I buy a nozzle form someone esle and run it with the exsting bottle lines and electrical componets?

You wont get much more with a dry kit (I believe they have a 25 and 30 shot).
If you really want to put that much juice in your bike you need a wet kit. Personally I'd upgrade the rest of the engine before putting that much into it and risking the entire build whenever you hit the button.

I have the whole engine rebuilt nothing is stock but the cases, so I know it will be strong enough to handle it. I emailed boondockers today about a bigger nozzle just waitin to hear back hopin to get at least a 30 shot

I know it's a 2 stroke but a friend of mine had a boondocker system on his' quadzilla. He got a 40 shot from boondocker. It literally exploded the reed cage.Might be big trouble going bigger on the dry nitrous even though you have a 4 stroke. Not sure.Just thought you might want to know.

You could can use a Boondocker snowmobile nos manifold to get what you want. Sure hope you put a good aftermarket connecting rod in that thing. Thats the weakest link on both the 700 and the 660 Raptor.

Yes as maddog says I do have a Aftermarket rod b/c it is a stroker. I was wondering what the advantage is of running the nos in after the carbs like the NX sytem over running it before the carbs like the boondockers? does it give it that more kick? can i converte my system to a nx system? without having to buy the whole new system?

First off I havent heard of anyone busting a rod in the 700, second he's got a stroker so he has to have an aftermarket rod.
