Default 250R stroker upgrade question

I have an 85 250R 3 Wheeler, and I am wanting to go faster. The bike has a pipe, filter, K&N and new Reeds. I wanna drag race and hill climb which both will be in the Sand. Is a stroker kit the way to go? Jumping to a 330 kit a good idea? Looking for some feedback and location for such parts. I am new to the sport, so please type in laymans terms, tks.

The big bore kits would be the way to go. ESR has good powervalve, and big bore kits, as well as CT i believe. Those are the the two that come to my ead first. But if you haven't already had your stock jug ported, i would try that first, because that would really wake it up. But if you're thinking of a big bore, try:
www.esr250.com
http://www.ctracing.com/trx250r.htm
But i would start slow, and just get your stock jug ported. Just my .02
