my 2002 raptor as involved in a accident where the machine was totaled by insurance company. the repair estimate came in at 5200 where blue book was 3800. what do you guys think the wrecked raptor is worth to buy back? i cant find a salvage price for it anywhere.

Buy back from who?

Its worth whatever it cost to replace it with a 02 raptor in the same condition. If its 3800 or 500 it doesn't matter.

BTW how did you get collision insurance on an atv?

 

when the insurance company totals it out they now own the machine. then they give you the option of buying it back for a salvage price. im thinking 500 dollars is fair but do not know if thats the going rate for a totaled bike.

razor.....you can get full coverage from about a dozen different companies

 

If you buy it back, let me know how much you want for the motor.

What does totalled mean? If the motor functioning? What is still good? A $5200 repair cost sounds like their isn't much left to me, expand a little more on this

 

totalled is usually junk motor, or bent frame
