I'm pretty sure that the new rappy is just as wide as the yfz stock so it wouldnt be that hard. I personally would want to shave some weight so its not crazy to adust if you get it cocked off a jump. Then I would try to get some better shocks on it (probably adjustable). Then I would go to the power department and pipe it. But thats just me and this is just hypothetical as I do not have a 700r. hope this helps

Mace i know you have mad skills... Just like me... But you are not gonna beat a $14,000 z440, and a race modded 450r... If you were in the woods it might be alittle different... I just don't want you to have to listen to them say your raptor is "crap". You ought to come with me and talk to dan the man and see about a sponsorship... Then go to the goodevening ranch with me and well do some pratice laps... Besides real men ride in the woods.lol. J/p... Welp later... Peace...

I out drive my suspension in the dunes and desert recreationally riding. If your gonna be competing, your gonna need to spend some money.

Id reccomend wider long travel arms with shocks sprung and valved for them. Out back id do a wider axle, adjust the stock rear shock and see if you can get it where you need it. ITs got adjustments for comp, rebound and preload.

To save weight, you could remove the lights, chop the front fenders, get different rims and tires, lighter handlebars.

If you end up switching to 18" tires out back to lower the center of gravity, dont overlook regearing.

Youve already got a headstart wtih the intake\exhaust\programmer. Get the suspension dialed first, then if power is holding you back, open her up!!!
