hey guys I have a 96 sp 500 and coolant started leaking out of the water pump weep hole. In my manual it says that you have to pull the motor and split the cases to change the water pump mechanical seal, but in the pictures in the manual it shows that the seal pulls out, not in to the motor. Have any of you guys changed this seal without pulling the motor? Thanks for any help Darren

 

Come on none of you guys changed a pump seal?

 

You can pull it in the frame but you need a special tool
