brake pads for 400ex

Default brake pads for 400ex

how long do brake pads last on a 400ex? because i was backin up yesterday and i heard a loud noise and a lot of vibrations coming for the back in and found out it was my brakes and thought there was sumthin in em but i checked and it looks like my pads are gone im jus wonderin how long do they usually last and how much they usually run

Default brake pads for 400ex

The rear pads can wera out in just a few months. They are fairly cheap, though. I think you can get a new set for about $25, or so.

Default brake pads for 400ex

are the brake pads and rotors supposed to touch together because i think mine are they rub together about every time the rotor goes around half way and it makes like a scratching sound i was jus wonderin is it supposed to be like that any help would be much appreciated

Like all disc brakes the pads will always drag a little on the rotor.

sounds like your rotor is slightly warped..
